 Pumpkin Seed Oil

Organic Pumpkin Seed Oil is one of our favourites for the fall season. It naturally renews and revitalizes the skin. It's high in Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, Vitamins A, C, & Zinc; encouraging cell growth and skin regeneration. It reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles, maintaining a youthful and supple complexion. Pumpkin is a fabulous anti-aging ingredient!

We use Pumpkin Oil in our Rejuvenating + Hydrating Face Serum  and Protecting + Restoring Face Balm to boost moisture levels within the skin, firm and tone the texture of the skin, impart superior softness and a healthy glow.

Pumpkin oil has amazing external benefits; the internal affects of eating pumpkin are equally as amazing! We delved into the benefits of eating pumpkin seeds on the blog already here, but there's even more to this versatile vegetable! One cup of cooked pumpkin contains more than 11mg of Vitamin C, or nearly 20 percent of the 60mg recommended for women to get daily (Men should aim for around 75mg), which is important for times of stress when levels of vitamin C are depleted, or for boosting the immune system in preparation for cold season.
The beautiful orange colour of pumpkins is an indicator of high levels of beta-carotene that act as anti-oxidants, helping to fight free radicals in the body which otherwise can lead to wrinkles and skin damage. To top it all off, a cup of cooked, mashed pumpkin contains more than 200% of your recommended daily intake of Vitamin A which aids vision, particularly in dim light.
