Immunity Shot Ingredients

As the days get colder and darker we tend to crave brighter, stronger and spicier foods to keep us feeling energized! These immunity shots by our holistic nutritionist, Fran Allen are loaded with vitamin C, warming ginger and turmeric. This simple recipe can last for up to one week in the fridge and can be taken daily as a juice shot for immunity, digestion and extra nutrients.  


1 cup fresh ginger, chopped

2 oranges with their zest 

2 lemons with their zest 

1 tsp. turmeric 

1/2 tsp. ground black pepper

1.5 cups water 

Optional Add-ins

1 lime, juice and zest

1 tsp. cayenne pepper

Immunity Shot Ingredients


Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Strain mixture with a nut milk bag - cheese cloth or a clean dish towel will also work. Store in an airtight sealed jar and refrigerate for up to one week.
