Our Protecting + Restoring Face Balm is better than ever! November 16 2017

We've reformulated our 'liquid gold' Protecting + Restoring Face Balm with Broccoli & Borage to be even more luxuriously hydrating. It's the best product for replenishing dry, dull skin and we're sure you're going to love it!

Our face balm is the ultimate form of hydration, perfect for all skin types including damaged, mature and dry skin. The new formula is even smoother and absorbs into the skin easily, delivering hydration and effective skin benefits for long-term effects. It is still unscented and safe for sensitive skin.

The concentrated blend of Organic beeswax and rich natural oils melt into the skin to soften and protect. Apply it daily as a rich moisturizer or as a spot-treatment on dry, chapped skin.

What’s in it?

Our face balm formula is rich in antioxidants and fatty acids found naturally in pure plant oils to hydrate, balance and rejuvenate the look of your skin.

Antioxidants slow the process of oxidative damage to skin cells, making them an anti-aging necessity. They come in many forms, including flavanols, resveratrol, lycopene and vitamins A (beta-carotene), C, and E.

Essential fatty acids are cell building-blocks that help keep skin supple and smooth. While your body naturally produces a range of fatty acids, Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids are not produced by our bodies and can only be obtained through external sources to gain their benefits.

Organic Broccoli oil is naturally moisturizing and rejuvenating and contains a unique combination of fatty acids which enriches the skin to restore its natural glow. It is lightweight, non-greasy and easily absorbed. The fatty acid composition is unique and composed of approximately 50% Erucic Acid (22:1), an Omega-9 fatty acid. It also contains Arachidonic Acid (20:4), and has a silicone-like smooth feel.

Broccoli seed oil is also a favourite anti-aging ingredient because of its high Vitamin C and Vitamin A content. Vitamin A, also known as the retinoid carotenoid, increases cell turnover and stimulates the production of collagen.

Sea buckthorn oil is another great source of Vitamin A and delivers a natural glow to the skin. Organic Sea Buckthorn oil naturally relieves chapping, cracking and roughness due to dryness. Rich in EFAs and carotenoids, Sea Buckthorn oil is perfect for damaged skin, scar tissue, wrinkles, eczema, and rosacea.

Organic Borage Seed oil is special because it is the richest source of the Omega-6 essential fatty gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) that you can find naturally, a well as a plentiful source of a variety of other EFAs, vitamins and minerals. GLA is recognized for its anti-inflammatory effects, helps to replenish the skin's natural moisture layer, and protect against future damage.

How to use it

Julie’s Tip

“I love to use the face balm to hydrate fine lines. I use it every night after I apply my custom serum + PA moisturizer.  I apply face balm on the fine lines I have around my eyes, nose and on my forehead.  I love doing this all year round because it really helps keep the skin plump and hydrated and reduces the visibility of my fine lines. “

Sarah’s Tip

“I’ve found that using this as a base under make-up gives me an immediate dewy glow.  I feel like it helps tinted moisturizer to easily glide on when my skin is feeling extra dehydrated and dull to avoid streaks and having to use too much coverage”.
