For First Time Clients Only: This first-time treatment begins with an overview of your skin concerns, followed by a health analysis based on Traditional Chinese Medicine theory and diagnosis. Following this, a complete acupuncture treatment will be performed on the face to help build healthier skin. Facial acupuncture helps to reduce scaring and redness, reduce rosacea, acne lesions, and broken blood vessels. It can also help to boost collagen, clear dead skin and brighten complexion. After the initial visit, a series of follow up appointments will be booked to continue skin healing. Nastasia suggests booking 4 follow-up appointments (1-2weeks apart) when you book this appointment. She is booking up quickly and wants to make sure she will be able to see you for your follow-up appointments for best results. Cosmetic Acupuncture follow up: A continuation of acupuncture on the face and body specific to your original skin care goals. This is a relaxing treatment meant to stimulate the skin and continue the treatment goals of the initial appointment. Typically booked in a series of 4 or 8, within 1-2 weeks apart for best results. **PLEASE NOTE: YOU CAN CLAIM THIS TREATMENT UNDER YOUR NATUROPATHIC BENEFITS**

Every treatment will start by asking a few questions about your chief complaint and looking at your tongue and feeling your pulse. After reviewing your history, the practitioner will begin diagnosing your ailment and putting together a treatment plan that will best suit your needs. Acupuncture is administered by using thin serial single use needles that are inserted into specific points on the body. Acupuncture is covered by most extended health care insurance plans. The scope of practice of Acupuncture includes any combination of tu-ina (Chinese massage), needles, cupping, moxa and gua sha. **PLEASE NOTE: YOU CAN CLAIM THIS TREATMENT UNDER YOUR ACUPUNCTURE BENEFITS**
